Another Perfect Day – Editorial Shoot

‘Another Perfect Day’ is a creative and lifestyle photoshoot I worked on in the spring of 2019. The focus of the project was to conduct a casual lifestyle shoot on a seemingly perfect summer day to highlight the timely blooming of the Japanese cherry blossoms. This was one of my favourite production experiences as I was able to develop and source everything independently. From location scouting to working with the model, I thoroughly enjoyed the entire process.

While shooting, I wanted to capture a balance between a casual intimacy with the model and an intentional attempt to showcase the environment around her. This resulted in a set of photos that draws the warmth and natural tones from the model and environment to strike a truly unique chord with the viewer. This photoshoot was plenty of fun and I also enjoyed the editing process tremendously. It further gave me confidence in to plan and execute countless other lifestyle shoots since and as such, I am very grateful for the experience.
